Né à Genève en 1976 et d’origine espagnole, David Mendo a débuté sa carrier de DJ dès 15 ans. Très inspiré par la culture ibérique, son style musical s’est très vite fait remarqué.
Lorsque le célèbre producteur et DJ George Morel le contacte, Mendo signe sur son label Groove On, basé à Miami, et sort sur ce label les titres ‘Do It’, ‘Everybody I Got Him’. Morel et Mendo deviennent alors associés aussi bien dans la production que sur le label.
Début 2002 son single ‘Tell Me’ avec la participation de la chanteuse Christie K. arrive en tête sur DJ Mag, fameux magazine anglais consacré à la culture électronique, comme sur les charts Suburbia de Radio Italia Networks.
Mendo travaille également avec un ami de longue date, Chab, et a remixé un de ses morceaux sur son label Imago Records.
Il a signé trois morceaux sur Stereo Productions, dont le hit ‘Watermelon’, meilleure vente du label.
Naît ainsi en 2003 Clarisse Records par la collaboration de Chab et Mendo, et le titre ‘Play Me With Your Sound’ est acclamé par les plus grands dont Roger Sanchez qui le fait signer sur son label Stealth Records. Un remix de ce morceau est d’ailleurs produit par le duo Chus & Ceballos.
Dès lors Mendo sort régulièrement des morceaux sur Clarisse Records. Tom Stephan, Kamisshake et Richie Santana ont travaillé à la notoriété du label.
Cadenza Records signe en 2009 “Remember EP”, qui a fait beaucoup d’émules: Luciano le joue souvent, et le public le reconnaît tres vite lors de grosses prestations.

Born in Geneva in 1976 and of Spain origin, David Mendo started his dj career at the age of 15. Strongly inspired by his Iberican culture, his musical style was immediately noticed and his House Music sets.
When world famous Dj/producer George Morel approaches him, Mendo signs with his Miami-based label Groove On for titles such as Do it, Everybody I got him. Morel and Mendo soon become associates, in production as well as the label.
Beginning 2002, his single Tell me (Groove On, Audio Recordings) featuring Christie K., reaches a No. 1 position in Dj Mags Hype-chart (UK), as well as in Radio Italia Networks Suburbia Chart.
Mendo also works with his inseparable friend Chab and remixed the first single produced on Chabs label "Imago Records" (Chab Get my love Mendo remix Imago 2000)
He then signed 3 releases on Stereo Productions, including the club anthem “Watermelon”, a Stereo Productions’s all-time best-seller.
In 2003, Mendo and Chab begin their project "Clarisse records" and produce the single ‘Play Me With Your Sound’ with remixe by Chus & Ceballos, receiving full support all through the industry. This resulted into the track being purchased by Roger Sanchez to be released under his label Stealth Records.
Since then, Mendo is releasing regularly on his own Clarisse Records, with collaborations/remixes with Tom Stephan, Kamisshake, Richie Santana... etc
In 2009, Mendo made the "Remember EP" on Cadenza Records. A highly expected release by many DJ’s for a while now. Luciano keep on playing it since a few months and both tracks always recieve mad reactions from crowd all around the world.
